OUR KEY SUPPORT SERVICES
Annual Awards & Graduation Celebration
Every year, we look forward to celebrating each of our students' significant achievements. All our students, from Kindergarten to Graduation, have the opportunity to be presented with awards for their effort, diligence and academic achievements (for which they qualify). Graduating students, who are being awarded a Graduate Certificate, have the chance to be honoured and celebrated publicly! For many, this is the highlight of their year and a significant time to have their efforts recognised and celebrated.
We have an in–person celebration held at our head office in Narangba, Queensland. We also have an online celebration held for families who live further afield. We put a lot of effort into making both of these events memorable and special for our families. Look out for information about this in our newsletters and an email invitation in the second half of the year. Check out our Annual Celebration page to see what it’s all about!
Diagnostic Testing & Study Pathways
Before starting to homeschool using A.C.E, parents are encouraged to get their child to complete the Diagnostic Tests. These provide valuable and essential feedback on your child’s current knowledge and skills in the areas of Maths, English, spelling (Word Building) and reading comprehension (Literacy). We offer to analyse these results and recommend a study pathway for your child, identifying the best starting point with the A.C.E. PACE workbooks. We also identify gaps in learning that need to be addressed and include suggestions of revision work or 'gap' PACEs to ensure your child’s success using A.C.E. Call us for more information or see our Diagnostic Tests page for more information.
Mathletics - Discounted Subscription
A Mathletics subscription can be a great supplement to A.C.E. PACE workbooks, which not only reinforces their learning, but assists children in mastering Maths concepts and skills. Mathletics is an online program designed to promote mastery and advancement in Maths, through hundreds of fun, engaging learning activities, games and parent-friendly progress reports that track students’ progress. Get in touch if you are interested in a member’s only discount on a subscription to Mathletics.
Barton Reading and Spelling System - AUS only
Barton is an American literacy program that has been developed by Susan. M. Barton, based on the recognised Orton Gillingham approach to reading and spelling. It is intended to be used with students who have been diagnosed with or are suspected to have Dyslexia. The system is designed for a tutor to work one-on-one with a student or a small group of up to three students. Contact our team for more information or head to the Barton page on our website (only available to Australian families).
Government & Planning Support
If you live in Australia, we can support you with the home education Government Registration process and meeting education program requirements, specific to your state or territory. If you live in New Zealand, we can support you with your application for exemption to the Ministry of Education. We can also assist parents from any country in putting together a learning program or plan for your children’s homeschooling. If you would like help with any of these options, please get in touch!
ID Cards
Did you know that you can purchase an ID Card for your child? Our ID cards are made of hard plastic and are valid for 1 year from the time of purchase. We offer families in Indonesia a digital copy, due to postage costs.
Student Conventions
A.C.E. Student Convention is an integral part of your students’ education. Convention is structured on sound educational principles and incorporates many areas not directly covered by PACE work. This leads to a well-rounded curriculum within the school or home school structure. It is where students aged 11yrs+ can:
- Discover their God-given gifts and abilities
- Develop those gifts and abilities; and
- Dedicate their gifts and abilities to God and ministry
Convention presents opportunities for students to network and socialise with their peers, and to work in groups and teams. It also provides external assessment of their entries. Students engage in workshops, competitions and make new friends!
If you would like to know more, please check out the Student Convention website or chat to us. It is an opportunity to join with other ACHS students for a very memorable event!
Community & Connection
Many homeschool families look forward to opportunities to connect with like-minded families. Our Facebook group is one way of connecting with other families. We are also aware of other families in your area, so please let us know if you would like support in connecting with families in your local area. Let us know what your needs are for connection, so we can assist you.

Graduate Certificates Assistance
The AEM Certificates’ Team provides A.C.E. Graduate Certificates for students who complete the set requirements. We work alongside you to support you with the processes associated with obtaining a graduate certificate for your child. We assist parents and students to select subjects suitable for specific certificates, register their certificate ‘study pathway’, meet the moderation and evidence of learning requirements, as well as apply for the certificate once all coursework has been completed. For more information, please see our Certificate Pathways page in our Member’s Area, or get in touch with our team.
Semester Reports
We provide a Semester Progress Report every six months, collating PACE test results, which you submit to us each semester by our due dates (mid June and mid December). We recommend getting into the habit of submitting PACE test results to us monthly, using our Submit Test Results online form on our website. For students completing PACEs #1085 and above, who are on a certificate pathway, parents are required to submit test results and to send in PACE tests required for moderation. This is a requirement for graduate certificates. We do not require you to send us your child’s PACE tests, unless this is required for moderation.
