"Reaching the World for Christ … One Child at a Time"

About A.C.E.

A.C.E. School of Tomorrow was founded in Texas in the United States, in 1970, to provide individualised, Biblically-based education. Over 40 years ago, the use of A.C.E. resources spread from the United States to New Zealand, then Australia and the South Pacific. Families value the A.C.E. resources for the initial diagnostic testing placement, self-paced and mastery-based learning, strong academic foundations, integration of a Biblical worldview, and focus on character development.

A.C.E. PACEs

Learning occurs through workbooks called PACEs, Packets of Accelerated Christian Education, that breaks up learning into manageable, self-instructional booklets, which cover content from pre-primary to the end of secondary school across all the levels. Each level comprises twelve (12) magazine-sized PACEs in each subject, with each PACE including both formative (ongoing, progressive) and summative (final) assessments. This means every subject has rigorous assessment throughout, while also providing consistent practice, review, and a steady input of scripture, Biblical values, character development and encouragement. PACEs are numbered from 1001 to 1144 (1 to 144), representing a progression from Level 1 to 12.

Country Specific PACEs

Southern Cross Educational Enterprises (SCEE), is the distribution arm of A.C.E. School of Tomorrow for the South Pacific. They have adapted some of the A.C.E. resources to suit our local educational frameworks and offer country specific PACEs in subjects, such as Maths and Social Studies (History/Geography), which are available through their webstore. For example, using the metric system instead of the imperial, as well as focusing on history within the student’s country rather than American history only and so on.

Determining a Study Pathway

When families become a member with us, our team can assist parents in determining  a study pathway for their child. Our team analyses a child's diagnostic test results to identify their current skills and knowledge, as well as any gaps in their learning. We then use this information to create a study pathway, with a list of starting points for PACE work across all seven (7) subject areas. We also include suggestions of revision work or 'gap' PACEs, to address any gaps in knowledge or skills and to ensure a successful start using A.C.E.

Through to Graduation

The following table shows an example of using the A.C.E. and SCEE resources to form a study pathway for a student from pre-primary through to graduation, obtaining an AEM A.C.E. Certificate. Subject areas on a pathway include Christian Studies, English, Literature, Maths, Science, Social Studies (History/Geography) and Word Building. Please see our Certificate Pathway page for information on graduate certificate options.
