Our Christian Homeschooling Support Team
Accelerate Christian Home Schooling is a support service and ministry of Southern Cross Educational Enterprises (SCEE). We are passionate about helping homeschooling families across Australia and the South Pacific. Our focus is on families who use the A.C.E. School of Tomorrow Bible-based educational resources to teach their children at home.

With years of experience, our Christian homeschooling support team understands both education and family life. Many of us have worked in early childhood and school settings. In addition, we are parents and educators who have personally used the A.C.E. resources. Because of this, we can relate to the unique challenges, freedoms, and opportunities that homeschooling creates.

For almost 30 years, Rebecca has worked in various early childhood education and care settings, local schools and an international school in supervisory, teaching and head leadership roles. She has worked as a school chaplain in a local primary school and Prep-Year 12 special school, as well as had experience running her own tutoring business, where she supported local homeschooling families.
Rebecca is passionate about helping parents train up their children in the way they should go, so even when they are old they will not depart from it (Prov 22:6). She has a keen desire to help families put God, His ways and His word at the centre of learning through the use of the A.C.E. resources. In her role, she oversees the team in supporting, encouraging and coming alongside homeschooling parents, so they can disciple and grow their children to become people of character and influence, who serve and positively impact their local communities and beyond.
Sheree's 20 years of experience in the early childhood profession, leadership skills and pedagogical knowledge aids our families by providing advice and guidance so they can make informed decisions.
Sheree believes that all children have a desire to learn, and our role as educators, (parents being the first and most important educators), is to pique their curiosity and provide them with experiences and opportunities to develop to their full potential. She has a passion for the education of the next generation and is grateful to be able to do so, by supporting parents in using the A.C.E. resources.
Sheree believes that knowledge alone does not guarantee success, but that other intangible attributes, such as resilience, persistence, positive attitude and patience, are also important. One of the benefits of the A.C.E resource is the character traits that are included throughout. She looks forward to using her educational research and knowledge to support families in using A.C.E., an educational resource with a biblical worldview, with their children.
Erinee brings her experience as an A.C.E. graduate and homeschooling mother to support our families on their homeschooling journey. She has a background in Early Childhood Education.
Erinee's journey with A.C.E. began when she first started the ABC PACEs with Ace and Christi, right through to Year 13, with Christian Outreach College. She participated in the Student Conventions regionally and in the South Pacific. She was able to do student monitoring in China and Hong Kong, the year before graduating High School, which she especially benefited from before attending university.
Having a background in A.C.E. has contributed to Erinee's academic, social, and spiritual growth. She saw first hand how important a good foundation is to a child’s academic journey, when she worked with the community mobile service in Early Childhood in Fiji. She encourages any family interested in using A.C.E. in homeschooling that it is worth the investment.
Grace is one of our New Zealand team members, but loves interacting with families from across the Accelerate community. She trained as a primary school teacher in the New Zealand State Schools system. Towards the end of her training, she heard of a course where she could learn about Christian Education. From that time, her direction was clear. She undertook the course and then spent a few years teaching in Christian schools, supporting parents, as they sought to fulfil their God-given responsibilities. Now, she fulfils a similar role as one of our Support Services team members, supporting parents in their roles as homeschool educators.
Having homeschooled her own four children, Grace knows the day-in-day-out pressures that families face. She also knows the joys homeschooling can bring! Her advice? It's a marathon, but you can do this! Looking back, she knows that time in prayer is just as important as time in lesson preparation. She also has a love of Maths and is often the 'go-to' support person, when a child gets really stuck with a Maths problem.
Vanessa shares her knowledge of A.C.E as a Supervisor in a school setting and as a home schooling mother to supporting New Zealand families from enquiry to enrolment to applying for MOE exemption to beginning their home schooling journey. For over 8 years, Vanessa has been faithfully homeschooling her 3 children using the A.C.E. resources. She and her husband Matt believe that when God calls you to it, He will see you through it.
Vanessa grew up with the teaching of her father constantly reminding her and her siblings that education is the only treasure they can pass on to them, and a treasure that no one can take away from you. Education is very important, and she believes that homeschooling works.
As Christians they strive to instill Godly character in their children, hoping they can help to nurture their children’s spiritual, intellectual, physical and emotional growth. They desire to see their children raised according to the standard of God’s word. They love that Christian values are included in every aspect of the A.C.E. curriculum.
Her desire is to help to support and encourage other home educators like herself. She was trained as a supervisor in the A.C.E. program. With her accounting, computer design and organisation experience, she wants to continue her passion through Accelerate to assist parents in leading their children’s education and trusts that the gift of a Biblical foundation is a great blessing than anything this world can give.
Sheree brings to the team her experience as a former A.C.E. student, who continued onto tertiary studies and into the education profession as a teacher. She taught for several years at Christian private schools in Sydney, NSW, before moving into the incredible and fulfilling role as a mother.
Kathryn brings her accounting background to process the Accelerate accounts receivable.
Kathryn comes from an accounting background and has experience in a variety of finance and administration roles. She loves to provide financial and administrative support to help ensure team success, and she has been doing this in both paid and volunteer roles for over 20 years.
Kathryn is married with three teenage children and has a strong desire to pass on her Christian faith to the next generation. Kathryn is excited to be able to use her skills in a Christian education setting, where she can contribute to helping other families instill this faith into their children as well.
Maria brings with her experience as both an A.C.E. homeschooling parent of her three children and an educational background as an elementary teacher at an international Christian school in Jakarta. After Covid, she decided to be a full time mother, homeschooling her own children in Jakarta, Indonesia. Her education background gave her a solid foundation in using the A.C.E. resources to educate her children at home. She and her husband, strongly believe that a Christian education, with a strong Biblical foundation is irreplaceable.
Maria uses her knowledge and experience to support homeschooling parents, especially in Indonesia and our other South Pacific regions, to feel confident in homeschooling their children. She believes the A.C.E. resources provide a strong Biblical foundation for children’s learning and a quality education that is infused with Christian values.
