Secondary Level - Late Starters

If your child will be starting to use A.C.E. and they are nearing secondary school age or working at a secondary level, we consider them a late starter (of the A.C.E. resources). A child desiring to graduate with an A.C.E. Graduate Certificate must complete the required subject coursework. Families must be a member with us or an A.C.E. school for the duration of the completion of the coursework that is counted towards a graduate certificate. Each certificate includes two years worth of PACE work. For example, Year 9 and Year 10 studies are counted towards a Year 10 Certificate. If a child has already completed at least one semester of Year 9, they may be given Recognition of Prior Learning (RPLs) for the learning completed at a previous school or during homeschooling. It is essential that we receive evidence of learning or copies of Semester Reports for relevant semester or years of learning. We cannot guarantee RPLs will be approved, so please discuss this further before completing this form, if you want to make sure this is an option for your child. Reports for learning prior to Year 9 are not required.
