Our Commitment to Families
At Accelerate Christian Home Schooling, a ministry of Accelerate Educational Ministries (AEM), our heart is to come alongside families as they embrace the God-given calling to educate and disciple their children at home. We recognise that home education is far more than academics—it is the shaping of character, faith, purpose, and a lifelong love of learning within the family.
Our role is not to replace parents, but to support, equip, encourage, and walk alongside you with practical tools, academic guidance, and Christ-centred encouragement throughout your homeschooling journey. We believe the most effective home education happens when families work together with our support team, through clear communication, shared responsibility, and a mutual commitment to helping each of their children reach their God-given potential.
The following outlines our commitment to you as a support service and ministry, and your responsibilities as the parent and primary educator of your child/ren, while you homeschool.
Our Commitment
We agree to:
- Communicate with you professionally and personally, keeping you informed through phone, email updates, our website information, and regular newsletters.
- Support you in practical aspects of home education, including ordering materials, administering and scoring tests, and understanding procedures.
- Maintain accurate academic records and provide timely end-of-semester Progress Reports.
- Provide thorough initial and ongoing training, with updated training materials, videos, and personal support whenever you need clarification about A.C.E. procedures.
- Assist with home education registration requirements by providing guidance, examples, ideas and feedback on draft education programs where requested.
- Work with you to develop the best study pathway for your child, beginning with diagnostic testing and personalised academic recommendations.
- Help your secondary children plan for their future, assisting families to choose certificate pathways suited to their desired employment, vocational training, or higher education goals.
- Support families navigating learning difficulties and additional needs, including the option for access to materials that will support children showing signs of dyslexia and/or dysgraphia (subject to terms and conditions).
- Celebrate each child’s achievements, character development and diligence over the year, with a special celebration of graduating students, with the opportunity to do this in-person or online.
- Continue expanding and improving our resources and services to better support families in their homeschooling journey.
Your Commitment
As the parent and primary educator of your child/children, we ask that you agree to:
- Embrace your important role as your child’s primary educator, knowing that our team is here to encourage, support, and equip you throughout your homeschooling journey.
- Take responsibility for planning your child’s education, through to graduation, exploring tertiary, vocational, and career opportunities, as you consider the pathway that best suits their individual needs, abilities, giftings and future goals.
- Keep your family and children's information up to date, including phone, email and address details, child details, test results, and any other relevant information that helps us support you effectively.
- Stay informed by reading all communication, including emails, updates, and newsletters, and respond to requests or actions where required.
- Partner with us through open, respectful, and timely communication, reaching out whenever you have questions, concerns, or need assistance.
- Ensure membership fees are paid by the due date and contact us as early as possible if financial difficulties arise, so we can discuss available support options together.
- Provide 30 days written notice if you wish to withdraw or cancel your membership, in accordance with our membership terms and conditions (see below). Please note that certificate pathways are cancelled upon withdrawal, and your family must remain signed up for the duration of the completion of their course PACE work to maintain eligibility for the desired graduate certificate (12 months minimum).
- Complete the Parent Training within the requested timeframe, helping you become familiar with the A.C.E. approach and the tools available to support your child’s learning.
- Apply the A.C.E. procedures and systems consistently in your home to foster a positive, structured, and accountable learning environment.
- Submit your child’s PACE Test results each month/term, so that our academic records can be accurately maintained and progress appropriately monitored for you.
- Submit any required PACE Tests for moderation, by the due dates for any child undertaking a certificate pathway.
- Contact our team when your child is approaching secondary-level studies, so that we can assist you with certificate pathway planning and future educational options.
- Contact Southern Cross Educational Enterprises promptly regarding any order discrepancies, returns, or product concerns, in accordance with their policies and timeframes.
- Follow all conditions relating to borrowed or loaned resources, including the Barton Reading and Spelling System, where applicable.
- Respect copyright, licensing, and intellectual property requirements associated with A.C.E. School of Tomorrow, Accelerate Educational Ministries, Accelerate Christian Home Schooling, and all related resources, training materials, website content, and member resources.
